No alpine experience or knowledge is necessary for our hiking program. The hikes go from easy to medium difficult and are build up in a way to enable you to enjoy the national park Garajonay and the island’s beautiful landscape without stress. Experiencing nature and landscape, sociability, relaxation and the fun of hiking are the foreground features. The hiking program is designed to enable young persons and those who stayed young to participate. Average climbs and descents are about 500 metres of altitude, walking times range from 40 minutes to 5.5 hours. | |

| Saturday: The old volcanic neck in the Northwest We start near the Mirador of Vallehermoso. From here, we hike through a marvellous landscape of scrubs to the old villages HORMIGA and EL TIÓN. Next to fields and flower groves, we hike on to the bottom of the old volcanic chimney ROQUE DE CANO. After a break, we start our descent to VALLEHERMOSO and we enjoy the wonderful panoramic view. After we have reached the former cultural centre of La Gomera, the bus brings us to the Castillo del Mar, where we can revive ourselves with food and beverages. |

| Sunday: The Shepherd's Path The hike starts in Igualero. From there, our way leads us along the ravine of Erque, which presents us with a magnificent view of the Fortaleza. After a break we hike on, passing old houses and terraces on our way via Chipude to the potters' village El Cercado. After a tour of the village and a stop at Bar Maria we go on to Las Hayas. On our way we enjoy wonderful views of the valley Valle Gran Rey. |

Monday: The jagged South Follow us through the canyonland of La Gomera next to palm trees, agaves, fig trees and almond trees down to the deserted village Erquito. From there, we hike on a panoramic path to the plateau, which offers us a wonderful view of the sea. When descending into the Barranco de las Negras, we walk through a bizarre, almost alpine mountain landscape. Its precipitous mountain slopes show the unique structure of the island. After a short break, we start our ascend up to the pond Magaña on an impressive path. We finish our tour with a refreshing drink at a bar. |

| Tuesday: The Rain Forest (El Cedro) Discover one of the oldest rain forests in the world! Accompany us on this botanically guided hike through the unique laurel forest. Starting at the crossroads Pajarito we climb the Garajonay, the island's highest mountain. Onwards we go through the lush green rain forest until we reach the village EL CEDRO. From here we ascend to the destination of the hike. (no stop at a restaurant). |

| Wednesday: The Green North Hike with us into the eternally green north of La Gomera! On this hike we pass the highest waterfall of La Gomera on our way to the village EL CEDRO. After a short break we hike on through the national park to Aceviños. This is the starting point of an impressing descent into the green valley of HERMIGUA, which boasts the healthiest climate of the world. We finish our at a bar. |

| Wednesday: Tour of the Island Join us to explore the fauna of La Gomera on a walk of about 40 minutes in the national park. After the walk, we ride by bus to the visitors' centre in Las Rosas and afterwards we stop at a restaurant offering food typical of La Gomera. After the lunch break, we ride on to the village Agulo, next we take a tour of the village. After the tour of Agulo, we go back by bus, passing the villages Hermigua, Chipude and El Cercado (the potters' village). Here we will stop for taking pictures. |

| Thursday:
The Witches' Forest Experience with us the oldest part of the national park on an easy hike! The hike starts in Las Hayas and leads past moss-grown laurel and heather trees to the place where we take a snack, Jardin de Creces. Our way leads us past cultivated terrace fields and fruit groves to Arure. When returning to Valle Gran Rey, we stop at the lookout point César Manrique. In Valle Gran Rey, we finish the day with a short tour of the village from the original La Calera to La Playa. |

| Friday:
Benchijigua - The palm valley The bus brings us to the Roques, where our tour starts today. From here, we descend into the valley of Benchijigua, which is guarded by the Roque de Agando. Passing agaves, figs and almond trees, we hike down to the place where we take our rest. After the break, when hiking along the old path connecting the villages, we pass through one of the most beautiful valleys of La Gomera. We pass palms and cultivated fields on our way to Pastrana, where the bus awaits us. After a refreshment in Santiago and the tour of the place we start our ride back. |
