What is Nordic Walking?
Nordic Walking has its origins in cross-country skiing, in Skandinavia it has been a popular sport for years. Advantages of this sport: it is easy to learn, relieves the joints, stimulates the circulation, helps reduce stress and is suited for all age groups, therefore it is the best
whole-body training
Technique
It is recommended to learn Nordic Walking in a class for otherwise the beginner might use the poles ineffectively. The technique is learned easily within short time. We use video analysis during training to support the learning process so you will see a success soon.
Equipment
Running or hiking shoes, backpack, protection against rain and sun, 2 t-shirts, pullover, windbreaker, snack, and water.
Daily:
2 hours' Nordic Walking basic training
After a bus ride of about 20 minutes we reach the national park where we start with an introduction into the technique, using the video analysis to reach a quick success in learning. Afterwards you will use your freshly acquired knowledge in the unique nature of the Garajonay.

The price includes all transfers and the poles for Nordic Walking during training.

Friday:
4 hours' Nordic Walk
We invite you for a Nordic Walk in the national park during which the joy of nature is emphasised. After the bus ride to Laguna Grande we start our program with a short introduction of the technique, using video analysis. Afterwards we hike through the national park with direction of the Garajonay in order to improve and build on what we learned. We continue via the villages of Chipude and Cercado, always accompanied by marvelous views back at Laguna Grande.

The price includes all transfers and the poles for Nordic Walking during training.

Requirements
